Essentials for Real Life Change
We believe that there is only one way to God – by making a decision to believe and follow Jesus Christ. This is what it means to take a life changing journey. Below you will find six essentials for experiencing a life changing and ongoing relationship with Christ.
YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN: In John 3:3, Jesus states, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” This is the beginning of a life changing journey with Christ.
WATER BAPTISM: In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commands, “Go into all the world and make disciples, baptizing them…” We want to see everyone experience baptism in water, according to the commands of Scripture. Baptism confirms to the world our new life in Jesus Christ.
PRAYER: Ephesians 6:18 tells us, “Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Prayer is a vital part of the ministry of New Creation Community Church. Without a praying congregation, we believe our ministry will become ineffective and unproductive.
THE BIBLE: II Timothy 3:5 tells us that “all scripture is God breathed and useful.” Reading and studying scripture is a vital part of following Christ and discovering God’s moral and divine will for your life.
INVOLVEMENT: Hebrews 10:25 reminds us, “And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near.” We encourage and expect followers of Christ to be actively involved in the ministry of the church
GIVING: Malachi 3:10 challenges us to “Put God to the test!” and see how God will bless you. Giving consistently is an essential part of the Christian life. We believe that while your giving benefits the church, the greatest reward is experienced in the spiritual life of the giver.
